Solar Tracking System
Solar energy is a major renewable energy source, but the efficiency of solar panels depends on their orientation toward sunlight. Fixed solar panels cannot maintain optimal alignment throughout the day, which reduces their energy output. A solar tracking system improves efficiency by continuously adjusting the panel toward the direction of maximum sunlight. This project presents the design and implementation of a dual-axis solar tracking system using Arduino Uno, Light Dependent Resistors (LDRs), and servo motors. The system detects light intensity from different directions and moves the panel accordingly. The design is cost-effective, simple, and suitable for small-scale applications. The results show improved alignment and better performance compared to fixed solar panels.

Ornex: An Intelligent Policy And Compliance Management System For Healthcare Institutions
Effective policy management in large healthcare organizations is critical for patient safety and regulatory adherence. However, current systems often suffer from fragmented distribution, prolonged approval bottlenecks, and inadequate version control. Crucially, existing workflows rely on passive acknowledgment, where employees sign off on mandatory updates without demonstrating true comprehension. This exposes the institution to significant operational risks and manual audit failures. To address these systemic inefficiencies, we developed Ornex, a comprehensive compliance management platform designed to transition policy administration from static document storage to an active, workflow-driven governance engine. Our methodology centers on a modular, role-based architecture that facilitates seamless drafting, sequential review, and automated approval workflows. To ensure high usability for non-technical healthcare staff, we implemented artificial intelligence-driven retrieval mechanisms, enabling fast and accurate searches of critical procedures during high-stakes situations. Furthermore, to mandate active comprehension, the system utilizes a compliance evaluation engine that requires personnel to successfully complete dynamically generated quizzes before their acknowledgment is officially registered. The implementation of this platform yields several key contributions to healthcare administration. It establishes a highly available, audit-ready single source of truth for all institutional guidelines, backed by stringent security and access controls. The automated tracking of employee evaluations, coupled with real-time feedback loops and incident analytics, provides administrators with actionable visibility into departmental compliance levels. Ultimately, this scalable solution mitigates operational risks, fosters a culture of accountability, and significantly improves the efficiency of the entire policy lifecycle across complex organizational structures.

Prediction Of Preterm Birth Using Ml On Electro Hysterography (Ego)Signals Form Physio Net
Preterm labor is a critical issue in maternal healthcare that requires early and accurate prediction. Electrohysterogram (EHG) signals provide a non-invasive way to monitor uterine activity; however, these signals are noisy and datasets are highly imbalanced, which affects prediction performance. In this project, raw EHG signals are first processed using advanced denoising techniques, including Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), Savitzky–Golay filtering, and CEEMDAN, to improve signal quality. Relevant features are then extracted from the denoised signals. To handle class imbalance between term and preterm cases, SMOTE and BorderlineSMOTE are applied, and feature correlations are analyzed before and after balancing. Furthermore, different feature ranking techniques such as Mutual Information, ANOVA, and Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) are applied to identify the most informative features. A comparative analysis is performed to evaluate the impact of denoising and feature selection methods on prediction performance. The proposed framework aims to improve the accuracy, robustness, and interpretability of preterm labor prediction, contributing to reliable clinical decision support systems.
